Monday evening event doubled audience for town hall with Mike Pence and Nikki Haley

Monday’s event with Christie marked the fourth candidate town hall of the 2024 presidential election cycle, following previous installments in May and June with Trump, Haley and Pence.
During the event, Cooper and Christie touched on their stances on gun reform, crime rates, and of course, Trump’s impeachment. Christie said that Trump’s re-election would be “worse than the original show.”
“He is angry and he is vengeful and he said: ‘I will be your retribution.’ Well, I don’t want him to be my vendetta, I don’t need him to do that and I don’t think anybody in America needs it. He wants his vendetta for himself,” Christie said. “I believe that if he does go back to the White House, the next four years will be about him settling scores with everyone who he thinks wasn’t entirely nice to him… [He] Especially since his presidency, he has shown himself to be completely self-centered, completely self-consuming, and to care nothing about the American people.
